Most folks book a massage therapy appointment for either 60, or 90 minutes of hands on (or sometimes in my case, feets on, haha) work. Let’s face it, even here in the Flathead Valley, we’re busy people, running hither and thither pulling our hair out trying to keep our families and businesses rolling. Many of us don’t have the time for an hour of bodywork, which, with getting undressed, dressed again, paperwork, paying, and travel time turns into an hour and a half or more. If you’re not looking for an hour and a half vacation relaxation station, and have a specific muscular issue to address, the half hour slot really makes sense. I can get through a full body massage, front and back, in a half hour, but to the client it usually feels hurried and more like a sports massage. What most folks do is have me work just the posterier side of their body, or split the time between a couple issues, like, say hamstrings and low back. This allows for the necessary healing time spent where ya get the most bang for your buck, but also narrows the target for me, which I really enjoy. In my Kalispell massage practice, I do what people tell me to do. If they tell me to spend an hour working on their big toe, fine, it’s your money, I’ll do it. So the next time you need some healing from Johnny Cochrane, LMT, and have a short lunch, don’t hesitate to book a 30 minute session. You’ll find those slots are easy to set up with the online scheduling at www.johnnycmassage.com, or call me for your booking. Look forward to seein’ ya! CHEERS,
JOHNNY C.
